Class Help

Our classes are taught via Zoom but don't be mislead by the fact that these are  online classes. Each class is limited to just 10-12 people to ensure personal attention to everyone's needs and questions. Enrollment also includes ongoing support during scheduled instructor office hours.

Here are answers to common questions:

Are the classes recorded?

Yes! Every class is recorded and available to watch (and re-watch) for at least 30 days after the last class.

How are classes organized?

Most of our classes are "hands on" where we teach for the first part of the class and you work, while still on Zoom, for the remaining class time. Teaching includes both lecture and demonstration in our three-camera professional video studio.

Will there be handouts?

Yes! Class lectures are typically accompanied by slides which are emailed to you after each class.

I'm Zoom-challenged. Should I still take a class?

We will start the first class 30 minutes early so we can help work out any Zoom challenges. We also have weekly office hours when we can help as well.

What if I have questions outside of class hours?

We hope you do! We are available by email and weekly office hours to help with any class questions or issues that aren't resolved during class.

What is the class cancellation policy?

Students who cancel 30 days or more before the start of class, AND when a replacement student can be found, will receive a full refund. Students who cancel less than 30 days or more before class starts (but more than 7 days), AND when and a replacement student can be found, will receive a 85% refund. There are no refunds for cancellations made 7 days or less before the start of class OR any time a replacement student doesn't enroll for the vacated class seat.
